With NoFrost, never defrost your fridge again.

Unlike conventional fridges, the air humidity in our fridges with NoFrost is permanently collected in a central chiller unit. So your fridge automatically defrosts on a frequent basis. The resulting condensation is simply channeled outside out of the fridge, where it then evaporates. NoFrost keeps your fridge free of ice. And removes the need to manually defrost. So you can focus on more important things.

Image Feature

Fresh with AirFresh® filter

AirFresh® Filter absorbs even the toughest food odors, keeping your refrigerator and freezer air fresh.

Image Feature

Close the door on warm air.

Opening the fridge allows warm air to enter, which can spoil the food inside. Activating the SuperCool function rapidly drops the temperature of the fridge to insulate the food inside. It also makes sure that the new purchases will be cooled more quickly. The temperature is lowered by pushing a button (36 °F at the lowest). To prevent unnecessary power consumption, the function automatically switches off after approximately six hours. Supercool keeps your old and new food fresh through clever anticipation.

Image Feature

MultiAirFlow evenly circulates cool, fresh air to maintain consistent temperatures throughout the entire fridge cavity, from the door bins to back corners.

Image Feature

Protects frozen food from defrosting.

Adding new food to the freezer raises the internal temperature, which can result in defrosting and a loss of flavor. The SuperFreezing function ensures that new food is frozen quickly and thereby prevents the other content inside the freezer from defrosting. Appliances with an automatic freezing function return to normal operation once the required temperature is reached, in order not to waste energy. As a result, frozen food keeps its flavor, even when new food is being added.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Schizophrenic machine

A very angry customer 4/26/2019

Brand new machine. Worked well for about 10 days and then bam!! The refrigeration compartment stopped working and following the instructions from the manual hasn't solved the problem. It's not the compressor because the freezing compartment works fine. One part of the machine doesn't agree with the other. Same problem as the previous customer above. Apparently, some sensor fails and people at Bosch will have to find what the problem is and propose a FREE solution.

Fridge still non-functional after 2 months

AlexW 1/7/2019

We bought a brand new B30BB830SS in PA in September, installed it in our newly renovated kitchen on 11/6/2018. Since it is very top-heavy and comes with warnings not to remove the styrofoam packing lest it fall, it is recommended that you fully install the fridge in its permanent location before opening it and seeing that it works. Upon fully installing it, the freezer alarm beeped and let me know the freezer was at room temperature. The fridge alarm never let us know the fridge was too warm. Over the course of a few hours, the freezer went down to its appropriate temperature and began making ice, but the fridge compartment remained room temperature. Of note, the thermometer for the fridge on the display currently says it is 2* C/ 36* F, despite the fact that the compartment is room temperature. Bosch customer service was readily accessible over the phone, and recommended we call one of their licensed service contractors, which would be all covered under the 1 year warranty. After three trips by a technician and replacing an inverter, the servicing company would now like to try replacing the fridge compressor (on lengthy backorder), which requires uninstalling the fridge (not a simple process, as it required about 6 hrs to fully install, and carries the potential of damaging the surrounding cabinets each time it is uninstalled and re-installed). It is very frustrating as this whole process has now taken two months, and does not seem to account for the discrepancy between the fact that the fridge thinks it is 38*F and it actually being about 70*F. In my understanding, if the compressor were broken, the fridge would be alarming that it were not at the appropriate temperature and yet be unable to cool it. Thus, it seems like a problem with a sensor in the fridge compartment to me. Despite explaining this to Bosch Customer Service and to the licensed contractor (who has been on the phone with Bosch throughout his attempts at repair), no one has adequately been able to trouble shoot the problem, and thus we are left still fridgeless after two months, with no real end in sight, but having to try the very time-intensive and potentially hazardous Hail-Mary of pulling the fridge out and replacing the most important part. At this point I would like a replacement refrigerator, and I would like Bosch to install it directly to compensate us for the immense time and hassle this has caused us.
