What motivated me to buy it was that the box said that the noise it made was minimal and now that I have installed it, it is not as quiet as it claims to be, I thought that maybe my A/C had a drawback. The app is very helpful and the fact that it is a smart device gives it an advantage.

This window unit saved us! I live in NC and my central AC went out in the middle of July. It took ten, 95 degree days, for it to be fixed. This window unit kept the downstairs (approximately 500sf) cool the whole time. The remote control came in handy but the best part is the app and being able to control everything from my phone! The day after my AC was fixed, my friends went out so he is now using the window unit. He loves it also!

This unit works well to cool a room. It is a little noisy for a bedroom. I use it on the lowest Dan speed but still a little noisy. I wish it had an even lower fan speed. Also, I don't like the fact that rge unit doesn't keep your last setting. Every time I turn it on it goes back to the original setting. So I have to change the settings to my preferences each time I turn it on.

This little ac works great! I believe it is 8000 btus and it basically cools down my 860 sq ft space. I love the wifi capability, I can turn this on on my way home from work and its cooled down by the time I arrive. No need to keep it running all day and run up the electric bill. It's very simple to use and install, and usually you can get a small rebate from your electric company

The looks are nice and modern. It Comes with its own app so you can use it with your phone. Keeps tracks of your AC unit overall status with its many features. One of my favorite features is the fact its a SMART AC so it's easy to connect with your phone. So for those hot summer days and u don't wanna come back to a hot room. You can just open the app and turn it on from wherever you are! Be 30 min away from home and come back to that cool relaxing room. So far power consumption hasnt been that wild or made any difference. So overall get this AC unit.

My central ac system died and needed complete replacement after over 30 years of service. Of course, it quit during the hottest summer on record. I bought this window unit to keep the house cool until I can get the main system fixed... and I'm happy to say it's done a great job keeping things comfortable. I especially appreciate that this model can be controlled by either a remote or by the app on my phone. Plus, the price was super reasonable. It works, but even when you select the auto speed the AC NEVER turns off, if you set it to 65F and it™™ll get to 65 but it will still be running. It™™s very very loud. And to use with Alexa you have to create a routine very weird, because if you say ™alexa then the AC on™. She says ™AC is on a mode that doesn™™t support that, change manually or use the app.™ I had to create a crazy routine to actually work.Anyway. I can™™t return anymore. So it™™s what it™™s. But if you have a better option. Get other.
