This Frigidiare is just a 5000 BTU but it's powerful . I replaced my 15,000 one in dining room with this and gets the room cold and fast. The energy saver works great and this is also a dehumidifier . Helps keeps the room dry when your floor gets sticky wett. Great price and so worth it

The AC throws amazing atewa an makes my open floor downstairs cool quickly. However it arrive damage, off the frame and as it were properly used ( window scratch marks at the bottom, dented metal plate, sealant tape remove and dirt). Other than that the air quality is amazing.

A friend recemented this little a/c and it is just what I needed and wanted! It is powerful enough to cool my bed room and bath. It is quite and cute. I have recommend it to my sister who needs a small a/c. The price is right, also. Frigidaire this is a winner.

I bought this air conditioner for my daughter's room. I really like how compact it is and the features that it has. It will cycle on and off any economy mode to keep the air temperature cool but yet saving energy. I like that it has a remote control and timer

Thus little power house saved our lives. The central ac died so we got this window ac! This little boy cools like a champ. We have coolness in the whole upstairs ! So glad we got this. It was so easy to install, my 70 year old housemate installed this by himself in less than a half hour.

We bought this unit because of its low amp draw and reported reliability, to use with a small generator in case of a power outage (good timing with a hurricane now bearing down on us). We™™ve been using the unit on house current to supplement the central AC in the super hot weather. The ™auto™ and ™eco™ features have brilliantly limited the unit run time and speed. We never think about it. The unit simply keeps our bedroom cool and dry. Also a great value.

I love my Frigidaire air conditioner. I have three other units other companies but this one is the best by far! It has the diversity to both cool and dehumidify. I love the ease of having a remote so I can control it from anywhere in the room. Even in the hottest weather it manages to make the room quite comfortable.

Excellent value. found it will cool more than the advertised space. work being done in ourhouse so the only a/c that can be utilized is in back bedroom. we live in back 4 roomsand between 2 frigidare a/c units it stays comfortable in 95 degree heat.

This was an easy buy, as we already have a larger Frigidaire unit that has performed flawlessly for years.The new 5K unit is installed in a bedroom, around 120 square feet. Cooling is rapid, it's quiet, it maintains temperature nicely, and the remote control is good.We use a pair of rubber panels (cut out from one of those 2'x2' black shop pads) behind the accordion pieces to completely seal it so mosquitoes can't get in.

We've been satisfied with this air conditioning unit. The remote control and electronic temperature reading make it easy to get the room to the desired temperature. It's powerful and cools our bedroom, which is on the smaller size, in just a few mintues. I think it is pretty quiet, but not impressively so. Easy to install and use, and comes with a nice variety in settings and features. Overall, would recommend this unit to others.

Installed in a 120 sq ft bedroom, it works so much better than my old portable which was much more powerful.For the reviewer who thought bugs and whatnot could get through the unit: Yes, you can see daylight through it, but of you look closely there's a block of styrofoam insulation that seals it off, but is somewhat translucent so you do see daylight through it.For the reviewer who thought he needed to drill holes in the bottom of the unit to let the water out... facepalm Also I love eco mode, I like not having the fan run constantly and it keeps the room very comfortable.

This unit is in my kitty room which has to be comfortable on the hottest of days. My last unit was also Frigidaire and lasted for years. I love the Eco feature and Energy Star rating.I am sure this unit will be long lasting as well.

We are relatively happy with the unit. It was easy to install and I appreciate the different settings (e.g. sleep, eco mode). We don't find it particularly quiet for the bedroom, but we are getting use to it. I would have given it a five star, but the back of the unit was damaged thru shipping and I also feel it was a bit pricey in comparison to other 5000 BTU units.

I am very like the small size of the unit even though close to 40 lbs, but still easy to carry to put it on the windows, come with regular filter, you can also add Pureair filters for better air quality in your room, ECO function well and very quiet at the night time.

DO NOT BUY! TERRIBLE AC..NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT BEYOND THEM GATHERING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO SELL.The room I bought this to cool is half the size of the room they say this will unit will cool. It doesn't. Terrible. It doesn't get below 80° when the temperature is 87°. The remote doesn't work. You can't take the back off to put the batteries in.. It's not a case of it being hard to open. It's that the back doesn't come off at all. Period. You would have to break the plastic to access the inside of the remote. The left fin is too small so it doesn't expand all the way to fit into the window. The screws are the wrong size. The foam insulation strip the paperwork says is included is not included. Customer service pretended like they were going to help me. They said they needed my name, address, phone number, the serial number, model number of the unit and the name of the retailer I purchase it from before they could help me. So they got all my personal information so they can sell it and then said "Try X and Y" No kidding, Einstein. Only a window-licking mooncalf would not have tried those things when they first tried to get the unit working. I told them I already did those things and they disappeared. I never heard from them again. They had what they needed. All my personal information to sell. Didn't stand by the product. Couldn't even be bothered to send me a remote that works. Did offer repair or exchange to get their garbage to work.. They offered nothing no help. They wanted my information so they can sell it. I asked them why they would register a product that doesn't work. I got no response. They won't stand by their garbage. Probably because it's garbage.

The screws don't fit the screws are too small for the holes.The left fin isn't long enough to slide into the side of the unit. Fins don't fit properly on either side. They don't expand properly. You cannot affix them to the window properly. Barely puts out any cold air at all. Putting my hand right up against the output for the airflow it's barely cold at all.The room that this is in is half the size of a room they claim it will cool. It was 88° in this room when I put it in the window. I put it in the window 2 hours ago. It's 80° in this room right now.The remote is worthless because you cannot get the back of the remote off to put the batteries in.I called them during business hours, Eastern Time, and got a recording stating that they're closed and to call back during business hours.I tried to use their chat, but chat doesn't work.I'm stuck paying for this piece of garbage for the next 5 months because I couldn't afford to buy a good one. Don't buy this. It's nothing but a waste of money

My wife and I love this air conditioner. We have a 2500 square foot house and we like the bedroom to be 68 degrees at night. Now we can leave the house at 75 degrees and we can sleep in our bedroom at 68 degrees without our electric bill going high. It works fantastic and itis quite so we don't have the noise while sleeping.

I purchased this AC 2 weeks ago and it works fine but the remote has the wrong backing which does not allow battery installation. Vendor ordered new one with no estimated delivery time. Local service person will not respond. Directional adjustment has only minor affect as most of the cool air is directed straight ahead. Also check the plug orientation with respect to your outlet. This plug orientation with my 1990 outlet does not allow another 3 pronged plug to be inserted.

This is the perfect sized unit for a bedroom. It installed easily and came with some foam to help fit it snuggly in the window. It's not very heavy so it's easy for one person to install this. I expected this to be louder than it is but it's just right. This is a great value for the money!

This unit was very easy to install and it fits well in my window. The accordion panels were a breeze to hook up and covered the space in the window sufficiently. This unit is quiet and cooled down the space in my living room very quickly. Having a remote handy is also a huge plus!

I love my ac. It blows very tight air. And it's very quiet it has 3 different speeds. Nice remote and I'm also able to put it on the sleep mode it's small and compact. Doesn't use a lot of power..I love it

I recently got the Frigidaire Room Air Conditioner Model#: FHWC054WB1 / 5000 BTU. It fits perfectly in my window. It comes with an easy-to-use remote control which is super handy. The unit has several Modes which are shown in the third picture. You can use the Fan, Sleep or Timer settings along with the other Modes. The temperature can be adjusted between 60 to 90 degrees. It runs quiet, looks good and keep the room cold. Love it and give it high recommendations! Thanks.
